# Safari Web Inspector MCP Server An MCP server that connects Claude Code to Safari for live webpage debugging — directly from Xcode. ## What it does Injects debug hooks into Safari via AppleScript to give Claude Code access to: - **Page inspection** — DOM stats, viewport, meta tags, performance timing - **CSS debugging** — matched CSS rules, box model, computed styles - **Network monitoring** — captures all fetch/XHR with headers, status, timing - **Console capture** — all console.log/warn/error/info messages - **Error tracking** — JS errors and unhandled promise rejections - **DOM mutation observation** — watch for DOM changes in real time - **Arbitrary JS evaluation** — run any JavaScript in the page context ## Setup ### 1. Enable Safari setting Safari > Settings > Advanced > **Allow JavaScript from Apple Events** ### 2. Add to Claude Code MCP config Add this to the `mcpServers` in your `.claude.json` (for Xcode: `~/Library/Developer/Xcode/CodingAssistant/ClaudeAgentConfigFRead full README on GitHub →
